Checking your device.
Persona will ask for the actual identity document and a live selfie. Do not use a screenshot, photocopy, or uploaded picture of the ID.
If camera access gets stuck, try a different browser or use your phone. The document still has to be reviewed before the notary session.
Identity verification data, Persona reference IDs, and related verification events may be stored in private backend systems for notary workflow, audit, fraud prevention, support, and future request matching. Read the Privacy Policy.
